Tony Khan Says He’ll Be ‘Lending Support’ To ROH At Final Battle

Ring of Honor (ROH) is set to hold it’s Final Battle pay-per-view tomorrow (December 11), which will be the last event for the promotion before it goes on hiatus for the first-quarter of 2022.

ROH recently released all of it’s talents from their contracts, and Jay Lethal has already landed in All Elite Wrestling (AEW), with the Briscoe Brothers and Jonathan Gresham also recently being backstage for Tony Khan’s promotion, but not having officially signed yet.

Tony Khan recently appeared on Busted Open Radio, where he said that he wishes to help out ROH this weekend for their Final Battle show, claiming it to be the ‘right thing to do’.

Khan said:

“I do want to wish those folks with Ring Of Honor the best. I’ll be doing some things to support them in this last show to make it a good show for them. I love pro wrestling and I love helping pro wrestling fans, and even the other companies sometimes. But yeah, over the weekend, I am gonna lend some support to them and try and help them out because it’s the right thing to do.”

ROH’s Final Battle show was dealt a huge blow last night, when it was announced that current ROH World Champion Bandido had to be pulled from the show due to a positive COVID-19 test.

ROH Final Battle is set to air tomorrow night, December 11, 2021, and will mark the end of an era for ROH after nearly 20 years.
