Tony Khan Slams WWE’s Nick Khan & ‘Lies’ Regarding AEW All In AEW/WWE

UPDATE: Tony Khan tweeted:

Today’s one of the best days in @AEW history

Thank you to all buying #AEWAllIn tickets today, off to an AMAZING start already 36,000 sold for £3.8M ($4.7M) + we’re only getting started, more great seats are going on-sale!

Let’s celebrate TOMORROW on Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite

Tony Khan has slammed WWE’s Nick Khan and “lies” regarding AEW All In.

As previously reported, AEW All In tickets went on pre-sale on May 2 to massive success with the company selling over 35,000 tickets on the first day.

ESPN Boxing Insider Mike Coppinger replied to a tweet about the huge number of tickets sold by implying that the stadium will be downsized to a smaller number than the 90,000 capacity. Coppinger tweeted:

Hearing Wembley is scaled for only 40K for AEW – far cry from last April when I was ringside for Tyson Fury-Dillian Whyte and it was packed to the brim with 94,000. Nothing beats the big-fight feel at Wembley

This led to AEW President Tony Khan responding to slam the alleged “lies” and took a shot at WWE President Nick Khan in the process. Khan tweeted:

LIES. What a load of crap. Tell your agent Nick Khan to shove it up his ass

Khan went on to later add another tweet, saying:

Since you carry the credentials of a credible reporter + represent the Worldwide Leader, I’m just curious: who was your source for this, and how can a reporter representing ESPN tweet something about a legit news story that’s so blatantly wrong and easily verified as a falsehood?

This isn’t the first time that Tony Khan has replied to WWE affiliates or Nick Khan associates in this manner with his public spat with Ariel Helwani gaining headlines earlier this year.
