AEW president Tony Khan has teased that he will make an announcement about where a new female signing to AEW could make her debut on tonight’s (March 25) episode of AEW Rampage.
Khan made a recent appearance on Strong Style Live, where he was asked if there were any female free agents that he had his eyes on.
He replied:
“Yes. I’m not going to say who, but yes. It’s a good question and without naming any specific names or spoiling anything, I will tell you yes. And as for when and where, I suggest you watch Rampage tonight and get more info.”
Khan was then asked about the identity of the star, and if it rhymed with words that sounded like Toni Storm. Khan of course didn’t answer, but teased that we may learn when this woman will debut on tonight’s Rampage.
He said:
“I can’t say. As far as rhymes or spellings or anything else, I can’t tell you that, but what I can tell you is I’ll have more info on when and where you might see a new women’s wrestling star debut in AEW. I’ll give you more info on that tonight on Rampage.”
Tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage is set to feature an FTW Championship match between Ricky Starks and Swerve Strickland.
