Tony Khan has provided an update on the possibility of him wrestling for AEW following recent physicality on Dynamite.
Tony Khan took his first bump on AEW television back on the April 24 episode of Dynamite in Daily’s Place, when he was attacked by Jack Perry, Kazuchika Okada and the Young Bucks of the Elite.
The Bucks hit Tony with the ‘TK Driver’, which led to him sporting a neckbrace during his television appearances at the NFL Draft to sell the attack.
With Tony taking a bump on television, and him making multiple more appearances since, fans had begun speculating whether or not Tony Khan will eventually take part in a sanctioned AEW match.
Speaking to amNewYork Metro, Khan commented on his in-ring appearance, noting that he did not voluntarily step into the ring, and that he will hope to avoid getting physical in the future.
He said:
“I didn’t step into the ring voluntarily.
“I would hope to avoid such physical altercations in the future.”
