AEW star Tony Nese has joked about taking TV time away from others, following rumors about backstage frustration.
Several stars including Miro and Andrade El Idolo have recently liked tweets criticising their AEW booking, leading to speculation that there is unhappiness in the locker-room.
Ahead of the August 10 edition of Dynamite: Quake By The Lake, Tony Nese referenced these rumors, noting that he was deciding which fan-favorite he was going to take TV time away from.
Nese tweeted:
“Who’s ready for Dynamite tonight! I know I am. Just need to decide which one of your s**tty favorites I should take TV time away from this week. #AEW #AEWDynamite”
Nese ultimately wrestled during the Dark: Elevation taping prior to Dynamite, teaming with Josh Woods. The bout will air on Monday’s (August 15) episode on YouTube.
Following Dynamite, AEW taped Friday’s (August 12) edition of Rampage. Check out spoilers from this taping at this link.
