Tony Nese made a blink and you miss it appearance on last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, when he made his entrance for a match on the show.
The match never got underway, as Jon Moxley laid out both Nese and Smart Mark Sterling, before he called out CM Punk to continue the brawl they began at the start of the show.
We never did find out who Tony Nese was scheduled to compete against, and he’s going to let us know it, as he took to Twitter after the show to tease that a huge AEW debut was set to take place that we will now no longer get to see, and it’s all Jon Moxley’s fault.
He tweeted:
You all would be very disappointed and maybe even outraged if you found out who was supposed to debut against me on Dynamite last night. And now, because of Mox, that opportunity might never come again. #AEW #AEWDynamite
I can’t believe Moxley cost us the chance to see the hottest free agent in wrestling, Vince McMahon, make his AEW debut.
If you’re in the UK but didn’t manage to get tickets to Clash at the Castle on September 3, WrestleTalk is hosting a watch party at The Joiner on Worship in Shoreditch, London, and we’d love for you to join us! Click here for more details.
