An All Elite Wrestling name says that he refused to be part of the new VICE series on the territories.
On the latest What Happened When podcast, AEW commentator Tony Schiavone revealed that he turned down taking part of the upcoming VICE series with the Dark Side of the Ring creators covering the territories.
Schiavone said:
“I have declined. I’m not going to talk to those guys at all. I will not do anything with those guys.”
“I’m thinking about how guys have helped them out doing interviews for their shows and how guys have ended up getting in trouble because of it. I’m not working for people like that. I like to feel I respect the business too much. I’m sure it will be good. I’m sure there will be somebody they interview and there will be a part of the interview that they shouldn’t air, but they will air it anyway”
As previously mentioned, Jim Ross is working on the project produced by The Rock’s Seven Bucks Production despite having his own falling out with the Dark Side of the Ring creators.
VICE announced this week that the Dark Side of the Ring series will return for a fourth season despite various reports speculating otherwise, which you can read here.
