Tony Khan has provided an update on an injured top AEW star.
Bryan Danielson suffered a broken arm with 10 minutes left of his dream match with Kazuchika Okada at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door last month.
The injury was originally believed to only keep Bryan out for around six weeks, with his wife Brie Garcia later claiming that the break was ‘worst than they first thought’.
Speaking on the AEW Blood & Guts and ROH Death Before Dishonor media call, Tony Khan spoke about Bryan’s injury leading to a slight change in plans for the Blood & Guts match.
Khan also provided an update on Bryan, also saying that the injury is ‘a bit’ worse than initially believed.
Khan also said that Bryan hasn’t been coming to shows or meetings since the injury, but Khan has been in contact with him frequently on ideas and thoughts.
Bryan has been providing help for AEW creative for Collision since the show launched on June 17.
