A top AEW star has admitted that they don’t know if they’ll be able to wrestle ever again amid their ongoing absence from TV.
Last competing at AEW WrestleDream in October, Bryan Danielson’s time as full-time competitor in All Elite Wrestling is known to be officially over after he lost to Jon Moxley at that event.
Ever since his loss fans have been left to speculate regarding what Danielson’s future looks like in 2025, both in AEW and as an in-ring competitor as a whole.
Speaking at the AEW All In Texas Countdown to On Sale event, Danielson addressed his status for next year’s event, revealing that he is no closer to knowing what his in-ring future looks like.
Danielson said:
“As for my participation in All In this year, I don’t know what that looks like. I don’t know if I’ll be able to wrestle at that point. I don’t know if I’ll be able to wrestle again to be quite honest, but there’s one thing I can tell you for certain, I will be here.
“There is nothing that you could do to make me miss All In at Global Life Field. I walked in and I got chills and when I saw it and I remember All In last year at Wembley and the first All In that broke so many records, I walked in there and I was like there’s no way that I’m going to miss it.
“So whatever Tony Khan wants me to do… I could commentate with you (Tony Schiavone) or even just helping backstage, I’m going to be there to watch live because this is going to be incredible.”

It was recently confirmed by Danielson’s wife Brie Garcia that he will have to undergo neck surgery, however, there is no known timeline for when this will happen just yet.
We will provide further updates on Danielson’s AEW in-ring future as/when more information becomes available.
Bryan Danielson has promised that he will be back for AEW All In Texas in July, but doesn't know if he will be able to compete at the event, or ever again at this point in time.pic.twitter.com/fkWymY2Tc8
