AEW shot a hot angle on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite featuring Chris Jericho, Adam Cole, The Outcasts and Britt Baker.
The angle saw Jericho and Daniel Garcia handcuff Cole to the ropes while Saraya, Toni Storm and Ruby Soho attacked Baker with a Kendo Stick.
The angle took place in Baker’s hometown of Pittsburgh, and came after Baker and Jamie Hayter had defeated Ruby and Toni earlier in the night.
Taking to Twitter to show off her wounds from the angle, Baker shared a photo of herself with a black eye, along with a rather blunt message to both Jericho and Saraya.
Cole also reacted to the segment on Twitter today, where he made a promise to hurt Jericho after the events of Dynamite.
He said:
Once you let your grief become anger, it will never go away…never.
I swear to God I am going to hurt you Chris. And the pain you feel will never go away.
Jericho and Cole are seemingly set to go one on one at the upcoming AEW Double or Nothing pay-per-view.
