A top AEW star has been announced for Josh Barnett’s BloodSport 9.
As previously reported, former NJPW star Kota Ibushi was announced for GCW The Collective 2023 during WrestleMania 39 weekend in Los Angeles. Ibushi will face IMPACT Wrestling star Speedball Mike Bailey on the March 30 event.
Now, a top AEW star has been announced for the event as well, but one that is very comfortable with the style of the show.
On Sunday, Josh Barnett announced that former three-time AEW World Champion Jon Moxley is set to return to the event.
This will mark Moxley’s first appearance for Game Changer Wrestling since losing the GCW World Championship to Nick Gage last October. It will also be Mox’s fifth BloodSport appearance.
Jon Moxley last wrestled in a win over Hangman Adam Page on the February 1 edition of AEW Dynamite.
