Top AEW Star Teases Potential Rematch Following Wrestle Dynasty

Following her win at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty, TBS Champion Mercedes Mone has teased a potential rematch with Mina Shirakawa.

At NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty, Mercedes Mone defeated Mina Shirakawa to retain the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship and win the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship.

With her victory, Mone is now the owner of four separate title belts coming off the heels of the first Tokyo Dome match of her career.

After her title loss, Mina Shirakawa took to social media to address her defeat at the hands of Mercedes Mone. She wrote:

I will carry this defeat with me.

But I will face you again, stronger than everrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

In a reply, Mone took to social media to issue a response to Shirakawa wanting another round with “The C.E.O.” She wrote:

Yes, let’s fight again! @AEW

It remains to be seen if or when Mercedes Mone will clash with Mina Shirakawa again at the time of this writing.
