Amid plenty of drama surrounding top talent in AEW, two more veterans have had a go at one another on social media.
With posts from both Sting and Chris Jericho punctuating their stare down last night on AEW Dynamite, the pair of legendary stars traded shots on Twitter.
With Sting starting off the exchange, writing:
“I regret not having more time with you, Chris. See you soon. 🦂”
Before Chris Jericho responded:
“Face to Face for the first time ever. Cool. Now here’s a warning @Sting ….stay outta my shit. @aew”
With both of the pair posting promotional photos from their memorable in-ring exchange from last night’s AEW Dynamite (June 14) it is probably safe to say the ‘friendly’ exchange is squarely within their budding storyline.
In the segment from last night’s Dynamite, Sammy Guevara was in the ring being interviewed by Renee Paquette when he was interrupted by Darby Allin.
With Allin noting that the crowd may have started to warm up to Guevara, they wouldn’t remain so affable if he kept stayed a part of the Jericho Appreciation Society.
Noting that his partnership with Sting was of equals, it wasn’t called the ‘Sting Appreciation Society’, Chris Jericho and Sting both eventually joined the fracas and had an epic stare down.
