Top IMPACT Star Feels Overlooked Due To Tribalism IMPACT Wrestling

A top IMPACT star says that she feels overlooked due to tribalism.

At IMPACT Slammiversary 2022, Jordynne Grace reclaimed the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship for the second time in the inaugural Queen of the Mountain match.

This win also made Grace the first ever Knockouts triple crown winner in company history, winning the Knockouts Championship, Knockouts Tag Team Titles and the Digital Media Championship.

Despite all of her accolades, Jordynne unfortunately typically doesn’t get the buzz or attention of other female stars in WWE or AEW.

On the latest Busted Open Radio, Grace was asked whether she feels like she has been overlooked or disrespected throughout her career. Jordynne answered:

“I don’t think disrespected is the right word. I think overlooked might be more accurate. Honestly, I truly think that’s just because tribalism in wrestling is so adamant across the board.”

“If people watch WWE, they’re very big on the WWE wrestlers. If they watch AEW, they’re big on AEW wrestlers.”

“I just think if people do go out of their way to watch IMPACT, it’s very rare, so I don’t think that they’re gonna see me one time and be 100% behind me.”

“So I can understand that. But at the same time, it does suck to work as hard as you have worked and not be acknowledged completely.”

Jordynne Grace will face Mickie James with the Knockouts World Championship and Mickie’s career on the line on January 13 at IMPACT Hard To Kill.
