Top Indie Star Has Been Contacted By Bigger Promotions

Top independent wrestling star Lee Moriarty has revealed that he has heard from bigger promotions.

Speaking with Sam Roberts on NotSam Wrestling, he said that there have been feelers put out but did not name any promotions specifically. Instead, Moriarty said he chooses to focus on things he can control. Here is the quote, courtesy of Fightful:

“There have been feelers and things like that. It’s something I think about, but I don’t dwell on it too much because I don’t know what these people are thinking. I did an interview with a wrestler who has a positive mental health guy named Jackson Stone and something I took away from that was he said, ‘control what you can control.’ There’s a lot of stuff we can’t control. I can work as hard as I possibly can, but if they’re not interested, then they’re not interested.

It doesn’t mean I’m doing something wrong, it means it’s not the right time or place. I’m going to do what I’m going to do to become the best. The contract stuff, that’s going to come when the time is right. I’m just focused on making wrestling better because I was taught and I believe in making wrestling better than the way you found it.”

Lee Moriarty has competed for a number of major independent promotions such as GCW, Beyond, and Warrior Wrestling. Most recently, he competed in MLW’s third Battle Riot.
