A top NJPW star has teased an appearance on the October 18 edition of AEW Dynamite.
WWE and AEW will be going head-to-head for the first time in over a year when NXT and AEW Dynamite air on Tuesday, October 18.
Both companies are pulling out all the heavy hitters to draw the viewers. WWE has several main roster stars appearing on the show including Kevin Owens, while AEW has four title matches booked for the card.
It looks as if All Elite Wrestling might be bringing in someone from another company to help win the ratings battle.
IWGP World Heavyweight Champion “Switchblade” Jay White took to Twitter to tease an appearance on the show by posting an emoji of dynamite with the #BulletClub at the end.
White last appeared for the company back at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door in June when he defeated Adam Cole, Hangman Page and Kazuchika Okada to retain his title.
It would be interesting to see how the Bullet Club leader would be used on the program.
In his past appearances, Jay White has firmly aligned with former Bullet Club members Adam Cole and The Young Bucks. However, Cole is out with a serious concussion, while the Bucks are suspended after the All Out backstage brawl with CM Punk.
The lineup for tonight’s AEW Dynamite from Cincinnati, Ohio will be headlined by Jon Moxley vs. Hangman Page for the AEW World Championship.
