Roderick Strong will be staying with WWE for the foreseeable future.
Fightful Select (subscription required) has reported that Strong has agreed to a contract extension. This reportedly happened before he redebuted as part of NXT’s new Diamond Mine faction. It also was not specified how long Strong’s new deal is.
The report also states that Roderick Strong currently figures into NXT’s 2021 plans in a big way. It was previously reported he will be part of NXT’s effort to add more focus onto the Cruiserweight Championship.
Strong and the Diamond Mine debuted on the June 22 episode of NXT. One week later he defeated Asher Hale in his first match back.
