Top NXT Star Apologizes Ahead Of Tonight’s Show WWE

A top NXT star has apologized ahead of tonight’s show.

As previously reported, a wild brawl broke out at the WWE Performance Center between NXT Champion Bron Breakker and Grayson Waller on Monday, January 23.

Waller was the instigator in the fight after throwing water bottles at Breakker who was training at the PC.

Ahead of tonight’s January 24 edition of WWE NXT, Grayson Waller tweeted a public “apology”.  He said the following:

“I know by now everyone’s seen the footage yesterday I made at the Performance Center and I wanted to take this time to apologize for my actions.”

“First of all Bron Breakker, I’m really sorry for once again exposing you and your temper. And embarrassing you in front of the whole world and as a show of solidarity, I’ve decided to wear your brand new merchandise shirt today to show you how bad I feel about yesterday.”

“To Norman Smiley, an absolute legend of the game. The way I talked to you was inappropriate and I shouldn’t have done it. And I shouldn’t have spent my night watching the video of you falling over (laughs) like 100 times. That’s okay because you’ve done so much for this business, Norman and I’m very, very sorry.”

“To all the athletes, stopping training yesterday was so inappropriate. I’ve seen a lot of you barely do a forward roll with one foot in front of the other, so I know you need that time to try to get on my level and I shouldn’t have taken that from you.”

“But most of all to the WWE Universe, I’m sorry. As a leader here in NXT, I know you expect better from me and I just want you to all know that this is just the beginning (laughs).”

Grayson Waller will challenge Bron Breakker in a steel cage match for the NXT Championship on February 4 at NXT Vengeance Day. For the full lineup for the event, click here.
