After NXT TakeOver: WarGames on Sunday, it was reported that Bobby Fish had suffered an elbow injury. Although it was initially thought that Fish’s injuries were not serious, WWE have confirmed that he had surgery on his injured arm.
In a video package labelled ‘The Casualties Of WarGames’, it was revealed that Fish required his tricep to be reattached following Sunday’s 4-on-4 match. Here is the devastating highlight video:
The spot that seemingly caused this injury was when Dunne stomped on Fish’s arm onto the metal border between the two rings.
In Sunday’s post show media call, Triple H mentioned Fish’s wounds, but claimed he didn’t know the exact extent of the damage. Even so, it was clear that The Game thought his NXT roster would be rehabbing ‘bumps and bruises’, not surgical repairs.
Now, both Bobby Fish and Candice LeRae have been confirmed to have serious injuries following Sunday’s event, with LeRae breaking her arm during the women’s WarGames match. Meanwhile, Johnny Gargano and Oney Lorcan both took to twitter to show the world their battle scars.
A return date for Bobby Fish is currently unknown.
