During an interview with Fightful ahead of Final Battle last night, former ROH World Champion PCO opened up about how long he is under contract with the promotion for, and whether any other company is interested in bringing him in.
PCO confirmed that he signed a two-year deal with Ring of Honor last year, so won’t be leaving the promotion until December 2021 at the very least. However, he also confirmed that he held talks with both WWE and AEW.
The Canadian wrestler stated that he held talks with officials from AEW “early on”. He also revealed that he spoke to William Regal about joining NXT, but did explain that no official offer was made by WWE.
PCO (real name Carl Joseph Yvon Ouellet) has seen a real career resurgence over the last few years, and fans have been very impressed with the jaw-dropping spots and great matches that the 52-year-old has had since joining ROH.
PCO will actually be 54-years-old when his current ROH deal expires next year, so it remains to be seen whether or not a company like WWE or even AEW would be interested in signing someone of his age then.
