Top Stars Returning At AEW Double Or Nothing

Later this month, AEW will be putting on their second-ever Double or Nothing pay-per-view event. The show will be headlined by Brodie Lee challenging Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship in Lee’s first PPV match for the promotion.

This year’s Double or Nothing will be very different from last year. In 2019, DoN was the first proper AEW show and the crowd were incredibly hot all night. However, this year’s show will feature no crowd due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

The pandemic has not only caused fans to miss shows, but several wrestlers too. Three of the stars who have missed the majority of TV tapings during the crisis are Hangman Adam Page, and Nick and Matt Jackson. However, it appears that the trio will be returning to TV at the PPV.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that the current plan, unless plans change, is for the trio to make their AEW returns at Double or Nothing. While the match has not been made official yet, it is expected that The Inner Circle will take on the team of Hangman Page, Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks and Matt Hardy.

Also at Double or Nothing, we will see Mike Tyson make his wrestling return when he presents the TNT Championship to the winner of Lance Archer and Cody match. Also announced this week was a match between Nyla Rose and Hikaru Shida over the AEW World Women’s Championship.
