An update has emerged on WWE’s potential plans to call-up three top NXT stars to Raw and SmackDown.
Following Stephanie Vaquer’s WWE NXT Women’s Championship loss to Jacy Jayne on Tuesday’s NXT, it was reported that she and recent rival Jordynne Grace were expected to be called up to the main roster, with Vaquer heading to Raw, and Grace to SmackDown.
In the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez shared an update on Vaquer and Grace’s NXT futures, while also revealing a third potential call-up that could also be coming imminently – that being Ricky Saints.
Alvarez said:
“Here’s what I can tell you. Ricky Saints, Stephanie and Jordynne, I was told all three of them – I don’t know how much – but I was told all three of them had larger than your normal NXT contract.
“The NXT contracts are usually not very lucrative. But I was told all three of them had a bigger than normal NXT contract, and people that have deals like that don’t end up in developmental all that long.
“So that, combined with the fact that a month ago I was told decent chance there was gonna be a draft this past weekend when they were running those four shows in Tampa, because it’s close enough to Orlando, the feeling was there was probably gonna be a draft this past weekend.
“It didn’t happen, but you can see that they wrote out a lot of people this same weekend. So I’m pretty sure those three are going up.”

On the same show that saw Vaquer drop the NXT Women’s Championship to Jacy Jayne, Ricky Saints also lost the NXT North American Title to Ethan Page.
Grace’s last match on NXT TV came at WWE Battleground on May 25, with The Juggernaut failing in her attempt to dethrone then NXT Women’s Champion Vaquer.
We will provide updates on the NXT futures of all three stars as more information becomes available.
