A top star on the WWE Raw brand is being advertised for an upcoming episode of SmackDown taking place later this month.
The July 14 episode of SmackDown in Raleigh, North Carolina is set to feature a special guest.
Coming out of Money in the Bank, Cody Rhodes revealed his WWE schedule for the rest of the month of July.
Notably, that schedule includes the aforementioned SmackDown show in Raleigh.
It’s very likely Rhodes won’t actually appear on that episode of SmackDown and would just be there for a dark match after SmackDown itself goes off the air.
However, WWE has already made it very clear it doesn’t care about its brand split after the recent WWE Draft, so don’t rule it out.
Although Brock Lesnar didn’t show up at Money in the Bank, all indications are still that they’ll have the third and decisive match in their series at SummerSlam on August 5.
