A top WWE star has been announced for the cast of an upcoming Disney Plus series.
Several WWE stars have crossed over to the world of television and movies. From Hulk Hogan and Rowdy Roddy Piper to The Rock and John Cena, many legends have left their mark beyond the ring.
Another Hall of Famer who is no stranger to the other parts of the entertainment world is Edge.
The Percy Jackson and the Olympians Twitter account posted a new update on the upcoming Disney Plus series, which revealed that the Rated R Superstar will star as Ares.
Edge previously starred in the Highlander: Endgame film as well as the Haven television series.
The premiere date for the series has not been confirmed as of yet, but the account will provided updates.
The WWE Hall of Famer is coming off a loss at the hands of Finn Balor in an I Quit Match at Extreme Rules on October 8.
