Top WWE Star Teases ‘Big’ Plans After The Rock Meeting

A top WWE star has teased some “big” plans coming soon after meeting with The Rock at Elimination Chamber on March 1.

Drew McIntyre and five other WWE stars saw their WrestleMania 41 main event hopes dashed at Elimination Chamber as John Cena booked his Undisputed WWE Championship match with Cody Rhodes in Las Vegas.

While Cena’s stunning heel turn and allegiance with The Rock shortly after that match has dominated the conversation in the almost two weeks since, McIntyre also had talks with WWE’s Final Boss behind-the-scenes at Elimination Chamber.

Discussing his talks with The Rock in an interview with Adam Glyn of Adam’s Apple, McIntyre said:

“It all started [with] The Rock saying those positive words that you captured in 2018. Re-signing last year, knowing where the company was going to go, The Rock [gave me] that sword. He’s always been on my side.

“I got a chance to talk with him at Elimination Chamber and there’s a few things on the horizon, they’re going to be pretty big once it becomes…”

This is not the first time that McIntyre has teased something after talking with The Rock, doing so previously after the pair met backstage at the WWE Raw on Netflix premiere (January 6).
