As one of wrestling’s most prominent and respected journalists, wrestlers sometimes take issue with the work of the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, often because he has criticised a segment/promotion they were part of.
For example, former Universal Champion Seth Rollins took to social media towards the end of last year to call Meltzer the “purveyor of misinformation” before going on to label him as a “vindictive liar”.
And lastly, @davemeltzerWON, you’re at best a purveyor of misinformation or at worst an outright, vindictive liar. I hope it’s the former. #rahrah

Now SmackDown star and former United States Champion King Corbin has taken to social media to give his thoughts on Dave Meltzer.
Baron Corbin liked an Instagram post from a fan saying that people are only down on the idea of John Cena taking on Elias at WrestleMania because Dave Meltzer wasn’t keen on the match.
As if that wasn’t enough, Corbin would then go on to call Meltzer a “cancer” to not only WWE, but the entirety of the wrestling business.

“People need to realize that he’s cancer to the entire wrestling industry not just WWE. He inspired hatred to anything and everything he doesn’t like or agree with. For example I may not like a band and that’s fine. But what separates us is I don’t have to continually bash them online or work to get others to hate them as well. I don’t have the time or energy to be that negative of a person.”
King Corbin is set to face Roman Reigns at Super ShowDown inside a Steel Cage, a match I’m sure Dave Meltzer will rate six and a half stars.
