A top WWE star has confirmed that they suffered an injury during their match at WrestleMania 41.
In a bout that arguably stole the show across both nights of the Grandest Stage of Them All, IYO SKY successfully defended her Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair in the opening match of WrestleMania 41 Sunday.
While the match itself rightfully garnered a lot of buzz, concern was raised for Bianca Belair in the aftermath of the match as Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that The EST had suffered an injury to a couple of her fingers.
Today WWE posted behind the scenes footage from WrestleMania 41, with Belair confirming the injury immediately after the match had taken place.
Belair said:
“Think I broke a finger. My fingers hurt, my feelings hurt. Nah, I’m so happy right now, that was amazing. Win or lose it’s WrestleMania.
The Mania streak is over but you know what, I would prefer it to be IYO out of anybody, one of the greatest wrestlers on the planet. Can’t be mad at that.
“Congratulations to IYO. Rhea, I’m still coming for that ass. This ain’t over cause it’s your fault.”

The extent of Belair’s finger injury has not been confirmed as of this time, but we will provide further updates on her status as they become available.
Belair was absent from the Raw after WrestleMania 41 on Monday night, however, Ripley did, making the save for SKY and NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer after they were attacked by Giulia and Roxanne Perez.
