Top WWE Star’s Recent Controversial Comments Removed WWE

Current Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Sami Zayn recently made his first appearance on a WWE Saudi Arabia event since the beginning of the company’s partnership with the Kingdom.

At WWE Night of Champions in Jeddah last weekend, Zayn teamed with Kevin Owens to defeat Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa in the show’s main event.

WWE uploaded an episode of WWE After The Bell which featured Sami discussing the trip to Saudi Arabia.

One comment from Sami that got a lot of traction was his discussion on ‘wild assumptions’ made online as to why he did not appear on WWE’s Saudi Arabian shows.

In the quote in question, Sami said:

“First of all, the fact that I haven’t been there in a few years, and that there’s been so much speculation as to why I’m not going and what’s the political reasoning, this and that. I won’t get into all of it, but I’ll tell you 99.9% of what you’ve read online about this subject, completely fabricated, people assuming things and then running with those assumptions and adding on to them. It’s wild. I think it’s anytime they can’t get a concrete answer, that’s kind of what tends to happen. I think that’s like human nature, almost.”

However, since those comments, the original recording of the show has been removed, and replaced with a version where Sami’s comments about not appearing on the shows was removed.

No reason has been given as to why the comments were removed, or what specific assumptions Sami was referring to in his quote.
