WWE Star ‘Suspended Indefinitely’

WWE Star ‘Suspended Indefinitely’ WWE

A top WWE star has been ‘fined’ and ‘suspended indefinitely’ following their actions on Monday Night Raw.

After losing the World Heavyweight Championship to Jey Uso in the opener of WrestleMania 41 Night One, GUNTHER lashed out in a big way on Monday’s episode of Raw in Las Vegas (April 21).

Confronting Michael Cole and Pat McAfee at the Raw announce desk, The Ring General locked Cole in a rear-naked chokehold before McAfee intervened.

In retaliation GUNTHER turned his attention to McAfee, choking him out despite the best efforts from WWE officials and security to break up the attack.

In an announcement made by WWE on Twitter, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce confirmed that GUNTHER has been fined and undisclosed amount and “suspended indefinitely” for his “reprehensible” actions.

Pearce said:

“Good afternoon. By now everyone has seen what happened on Monday between GUNTHER, Michael Cole and Pat McAfee. First things first Pat and Cole are ok. Pat is in Green Bay covering the NFL Draft and Cole is doing what he always does, preparing for Monday Night Raw in a Hall of Fame way.”

“As for you GUNTHER, your actions were reprehensible and disgusting. You will never again put your hands on a member of my announce team because their ain’t no heat with beating up an announcer.

“You’re frustrated because you lost your World Heavyweight Championship to Jey Uso and I get that but if you want to blame somebody park yourself in front of a mirror and ask the person staring back at you.

“After conferring with representation of all three men, GUNTHER has been fined and undisclosed amount and suspended indefinitely.

“Pat and Cole will be on Raw this Monday live in Kansas City 8pm Eastern, 9pm Pacific on Netflix. Thank you for your time.”
