Top WWE Star Makes In-Ring Return

Top WWE Star Makes In-Ring Return WWE

A top WWE star has returned to action at a recent WWE live event from Cincinnati, Ohio (June 17) after over a month of inactivity.

Featured on a stacked card for the live attendees that also saw Roman Reigns defend his Undisputed Universal Championship, the ‘All-Mighty’ Bobby Lashley returned to take on Karrion Kross.

Lashley’s return got off on the right foot as the two-time former WWE Champion defeated Kross who was accompanied by Scarlett to the ring.

Prior to this Lashley’s last match was in the World Heavyweight Championship tournament where he fell to AJ Styles in the semi-finals.

Curiously Lashley’s return was in fact expected to take place on this past Friday’s Smackdown (June 16), with Fightful Select (subscription required) noting that he was advertised locally for the show in Lexington, Kentucky.

However, this obviously did not happen, yet following his appearance in Cincinnati its safe to assume it won’t be long until he’s back on TV as well.

After MVP fuelled the fire, there has been speculation that Lashley could return alongside his former Hurt Business cohorts Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander, something that fans have clamored for, for quite some time.

Regardless, Lashley himself seems intent on aiming high upon his return to TV, calling out a major star following this week’s Smackdown (June 16), to find out who follow this link here.
