Top WWE Star Mocks Rivals For ‘National Best Friend Day’

Yesterday (June 8) marked ‘National Best Friend Day’ in the United States.

There have been many great friendships in wrestling history, including those that ultimately ended up with the two friends despising each other.

Trish Stratus made her return to WWE television back in March, joining forces with then-Women’s Tag Team Champions Becky Lynch & Lita to take on Damage CTRL.

The trio teamed up at WrestleMania 39 this year to defeat Bayley, Dakota Kai and IYO SKY, before Trish ended up betraying Becky less than a month later, costing her and Lita the Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Trish revealed in her promo that she was also the person who attacked Lita the night she filled in for her to defend the titles, and she has now poked more fun at her two former friends.

Taking to Twitter, Trish shared a video for National Best Friend Day, with a montage of her, Becky and Lita teaming together set to the theme song of ‘Friends’.

The video then ended with shots of Trish laying Becky out, including her victory over Lynch at Night of Champions.

Trish defeated Becky at Night of Champions thanks to interference from Zoey Stark, with whom she has become aligned with on television in recent weeks.

Both Becky and Zoey are set to be a part of the women’s Money In The Bank Ladder match at WWE Money In The Bank in London at the end of the month.

The rematch between Becky and Trish is reportedly set to take place at SummerSlam in Detroit in August.
