A top WWE star says he is not interested in a reality show revolving around his relationship.
Over the past 10 years, WWE has had its fair share of reality programming centering on the real lives of their stars.
From Total Divas to Miz & Mrs., the company has seen reality shows that have revolved around the relationships of several WWE talent.
In 2022, the company announced that Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair and her husband Montez Ford will be the latest to have a reality series coming to Hulu later this year. However, one top WWE star has stated that he will not be joining this trend.
In an interview with Sports Illustrated during a WWE 2K23 event ahead of Royal Rumble, Seth Rollins was asked if he would be interested in doing a reality show along with his wife and fellow WWE star Becky Lynch. Rollins answered:
“No man, that’s not for me. That’s not for me. I like to do the scripted stuff or the improvisational stuff.”
“I don’t know about the reality, I feel like having a camera follow me around all the time would just drive me insane. I couldn’t handle it.”
Seth and Becky are parents to their daughter, Roux, which Rollins says that parenthood has kept their lives at a warp-speed race. On parenthood, he stated:
“Oh, it’s been a different world altogether, man. Priorities shift. Everything changes. We’ve been traveling on the road with her. Having two working wrestling parents along with, you know, Becky has been doing some outside stuff as well. It’s been chaos.”
“The one major thing is the time has just gone like that. I mean, in this industry, it flies anyway because we’re nonstop, but having her around, I feel like it’s just on another level. Like we’re in warp speed.”
Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch were briefly paired on-screen in 2019, but they haven’t been since. However, this did not stop Lynch’s rival Bayley from making reference to their relationship in a promo on the January 30 edition of Raw.
Becky will face Bayley in a steel cage match on the February 6 episode of WWE Raw.
