Top WWE Star Pitches Final Match Against John Cena

A top WWE star has pitched a potential final match against WWE Champion John Cena ahead of his retirement in December.

John Cena’s retirement tour his almost halfway over, with him currently reigning as the Undisputed WWE Champion after dethroning Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 41 to win his record-breaking 17th World Title.

Cena is set to team up with Logan Paul against World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes at Money In The Bank this Saturday, but there are other names currently looking for a potential match against Cena before he hangs it up.

Cena’s name was mentioned by both CM Punk and AJ Styles on this week’s episode of Raw, potentially teasing one final match against Cena.

Speaking to ET Now, Seth Rollins also threw his name into the ring, noting that he wants to ‘get another chance to break his nose’ before Cena retires.

Cena and Rollins had a number of matches back in 2015, including a United States Championship match on Raw which saw Rollins break Cena’s nose with a knee.
