Ronda Rousey has revealed that her input helped to shift her WWE character post SummerSlam 2022.
At SummerSlam 2022, Ronda Rousey failed to regain the SmackDown Women’s Championship from Liv Morgan. Post match, Rousey snapped with an attack on Morgan and a referee.
Since then, the UFC Hall of Famer has shown off more attitude and less care in her bad reputation with the WWE higher ups. This has caused crowds to greet Rousey with more cheers than before.
During a game stream, the SmackDown star was asked about her character being more authentic and if she had any say in her new persona.
She answered:
“Ummmmmm, wellll, yeah. It’s cool. I feel like the more experience I get, the more they trust me with being able to take ownership of things. I do feel like more of a team than ever. My input matters more than it ever has, which is great.”
On last Friday’s SmackDown, Ronda Rousey had her suspension lifted and responded by applying an armbar to WWE official Adam Pearce.
