Top WWE Star Takes Issue With Line From John Cena Raw Promo WWE

A top WWE star has taken issue with a line from John Cena’s promo on WWE Raw in Glasgow, Scotland (March 24).

Much like last week’s show in Brussels, John Cena opened Raw with a promo berating the fans in attendance, promising to “ruin wrestling” when he wins his seventeenth world championship at WrestleMania 41 in just over three weeks time.

While the fans inside the OVO Hydro would greet Cena with chants of “shut the f**k up” and “f**k you Cena”, they were not the only ones to take issue with Cena’s words.

Posting to Twitter, Scotland’s own Drew McIntyre retweeted a clip of Cena’s promo, highlighting the line in which Cena referred to himself as “the one guy who actually always tells the truth”.

Along with a picture of a man face down with his head in a bowl of water, McIntyre wrote:

The ONE guy who always tells the truth?

I’m tired.

Despite revealing ahead of Raw that he was “shouting at the right people” in order to appear on tonight’s show in Glasgow, McIntyre did not appear on the broadcast.

Since January the former World Heavyweight Champion has been a member of the SmackDown roster and is currently feuding with Damian Priest heading into WrestleMania 41.
