Former WWE Champion AJ Styles made his return to WWE television during the first night of the 2023 WWE Draft, where he and the rest of the OC were drafted to Raw.
AJ had suffered a broken ankle injury back in December 2022, keeping him out of action for four months.
Prior to his injury, AJ had been a part of the Raw brand under the Triple H led regime, where he was feuding with Finn Balor and the Judgment Day.
Speaking with Inside The Ropes, Styles was asked about the differences between working for Triple H and Vince McMahon, to which he said:
“I don’t feel like it’s that much of a switch,” Styles admitted, “Whether it’s Triple H or it’s Vince McMahon, the orders are coming down from them and I want to make sure they get what they want.”
AJ is set to face off with Seth Rollins at WWE Night of Champions next weekend to determine the first new World Heavyweight Champion.
AJ will face off against Karrion Kross on next week’s episode of SmackDown.
