Top WWE Star Had To Put YouTube Series On Hiatus Due To Third Party Edict WWE

A top WWE star has revealed they had to put their YouTube series on hiatus due to WWE’s third party edict.

In October, Sheamus uploaded a new edition of Celtic Warrior Workouts for the first time since December 2020.

The series has been on hiatus since then, but it is now back in the full-swing of things.

While doing press for the Survivor Series WarGames week, Sheamus was interviewed by Shakiel Mahjouri.

The four-time WWE world champion revealed the reason he had to stop uploading new episodes was because of the company’s third party edict.

Sheamus said:

“It just grew and grew and it was incredible [Celtic Warrior Workouts] and then, I guess the whole social media thing with TikTok — not TikTok, with Twitch and there was a couple of other things that came in so everything got put in the same blender.”

“So I had to stop the channel, because it was a whole umbrella of social media and third-party stuff so because I was in that mold and because I was doing it on my own — well I did it on my own with the intention of doing it with WWE.”

The Celtic Warrior continued on to discuss his thought process in regards to going on hiatus with the YouTube series, saying:

“It got closed down. So two-and-a-half years but then I was constantly in the back of my mind — I told Vince [McMahon], ‘Oh, I’ll shut it down. Everything’s shut down. Yeah, yeah,’ but I didn’t shut it down.”

“I kept it there because I knew there was gonna be an opportunity and then of course at Mania last year, talked to everybody, Nick Khan, Triple H, you know, and Stephanie [McMahon] were like, ‘We want to get this channel back’ and man, it’s already been incredible.”

Sheamus competed in a loss in the Men’s War Games match with Drew McIntyre, Butch, Ridge Holland and Kevin Owens to The Bloodline’s Roman Reigns, The Usos, Solo Sikoa and Sami Zayn at Survivor Series.
