An update on Trey Miguel’s wrestling future following his AEW signing and subsequent release from the company.
It was recently announced that, following the expiration of their TNA Wrestling contracts, Dezmond Xavier, Zachary Wentz, Trey Miguel and Myron Reed of the Rascalz had all signed with AEW.
However, when the Rascalz would appear on AEW television, Xavier, Wentz and Reed did so without Miguel, with his status remaining a mystery until it was confirmed that he had been released from the company.
Miguel’s release came from ‘above’ Tony Khan, with Warner Bros Discovery themselves reportedly stepping in due to past comments Miguel had made on social media.
Following his departure, Miguel announced that he would be taking a break from wrestling, but it seems as though that may not end up being the case.
In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), there have been talks within TNA Wrestling to bring Miguel back into the company following his release from AEW.
TNA made it’s debut on the AMC Network with last week’s episode of iMPACT, which saw the debuts of both Elayna Black (Cora Jade) and Daria Rae (Sonya Deville).
