Trey Miguel Would Love To Work With Former WWE Star In IMPACT IMPACT Wrestling

Trey Miguel says he would love to work with a former WWE star in IMPACT Wrestling.

In 2019 and 2020, Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz and Dezmond Xavier of The Rascalz became one of the most popular acts in the promotion. The trio stood out for their exciting in-ring style and funny backstage segments from “The Treehouse”.

In December 2020, Wentz and Xavier left IMPACT Wrestling and later signed with WWE.

Under new ring names of Nash Carter and Wes Lee known as MSK, the duo went on to win the NXT Tag Team Championships on two occasions and the 2021 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. In March 2022, Carter was released from WWE following allegations of domestic abuse.

Meanwhile, Miguel went on to win the X-Division Championship twice, including recently at IMPACT Over Drive on November 18.

In a new interview with WrestleZone, the current X-Division Champion commented on the idea of working with Zachary Wentz in IMPACT Wrestling again. Miguel said:

“In any facet that I can share a ring with Zach again, I’d love to.”

“Whether it be tag teaming or smacking him in the back of the head and spray painting his hair green. I’d love to do either.”

“Zach’s my favorite person in the world to share a wrestling ring with aside from [Wes Lee] and Myron [Reed] and I wouldn’t think twice about that opportunity if it presented itself.”

Wentz’s WWE release transpired the same week that he and Wes Lee won the NXT Tag Team Championships for the second time at Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania 38 weekend.

Zachary Wentz has since appeared for various independent promotions in 2022, including with Trey Miguel as The Rascalz for Wrestling REVOLVER and Circle 6.

Trey Miguel defeated Black Taurus to win his second X-Division Title at IMPACT Over Drive. His first reign with the title lasted 182 days.

Meanwhile, Miguel and Wentz’s former Rascalz stablemate Wes Lee is the current NXT North American Champion after winning a five-way ladder match for the title at Halloween Havoc in October.
