Former WWE star Trinity Fatu (fka Naomi) has thanked another former WWE name for creating her new entrance music, following her return to the ring.
After almost a year away from the ring, Trinity made her first wrestling appearance since leaving WWE at the April 28 for IMPACT with the name just ‘Trinity’.
She made her in-ring comeback the following night, facing off against IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Champion KiLynn King.
Trinity has now taken to Twitter to give Josiah Williams a shoutout, praising him for being the brains behind her new entrance theme.
Trinity wrote:
I want to give a very special thank you to @JDeanWilliams!
He’s the brains behind my new entrance music. I simply told him what I felt and wanted and he created exactly that!
@JDeanWilliams You really have a gift with this music and it was such a pleasure to collaborate on this project with you. I hope it’s not the last thank you for everything.
Teasing a music video, Williams replied:
Trinity!! I’m forever thankful for you. And I’m soooo glad that we could make this happen. But, please know this. From me and from everyone else:
YOU DESERVE THIS AND SO MUCH MORE!
Now… let’s figure out how to give everyone this music video. 👀
After making a name for himself with his ‘Wrestle & Flow’ series, in which he’d create rap remixes of popular entrance themes, Williams was brought in to perform his remix of the Undisputed Era’s music at NXT TakeOver XXV in 2019.
He joined WWE around this time, serving as an on-air host based out of the WWE Performance Center. Williams also went on make content for WWE, including music for an NXT star which was rarely used.
Williams was let go by WWE in May 2021.
Trinity has now commented on her WWE departure, which you can read more about right here.
