Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque discussed the status of NXT for the upcoming WWE Draft during today’s conference call ahead of Sunday’s TakeOver 31 show.
Levesque was asked if NXT will be involved in the Draft, which takes place on the October 9 SmackDown and October 12 Raw.
When asked if he knew NXT’s status for the Draft, Levesque said:
“I wish I did, but I don’t. I don’t know. The Draft is coming – I’m unsure. You, like myself, will have to stay tuned and wait and see. The Draft’s always an exciting time because you can get new talent and fresh matchups and everything else. So, I, like you, will be sitting back, waiting to see the excitement unfold.”

The assumption would be that while NXT won’t be fully invovled in the Draft to a major extent, there could be a couple of names from the brand that show up on either Raw or SmackDown. One of the more rumoured names is Chelsea Green who we exclusively reported previously was being moved to the main roster, but plans for that were put on hold at the time.
Of course WrestleTalk.com will keep you up to speed with the WWE Draft as it plays out in the coming weeks.
We will have other highlights from Triple H’s comments throughout the call on the site.
We’ll also have live coverage for tonight’s NXT and Sunday’s NXT TakeOver 31 tonight and Sunday night respectively.
