Celebrity wrestling star Bad Bunny made his return to WWE television at last night’s WrestleMania 39 show, providing Spanish commentary for the Rey Mysterio vs Dominik Mysterio match.
Bad Bunny made his presence felt, chasing off Finn Balor and Damian Priest and aiding Rey to score the victory over his son.
With Bad Bunny set to host Backlash in Puerto Rico next month, fans have speculated that this could lead to Bunny returning to the ring on the show, likely in a tag team match with Rey Mysterio against Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest.
Speaking on the post-WrestleMania 39 night one press conference, Triple H discussed Bad Bunny’s in-ring future, saying that he’s sure he can make a return to the ring happen if Bunny wants it.
He said:
“I will say this about Bad Bunny. Puerto Rico is coming. If he wants to be in that ring, he has my number. We talk… If he wants to be in that ring, he’ll hit me up and I’m sure we’ll make it happen. But he’ll be there one way or the other; he’s hosting it. It’s going to be a blast.”
Triple H then went on to praise Bunny for his commitment to training, as well as Logan Paul, Pat McAfee and others.
He said:
“What’s awesome about it is the grind, and what the level of what they’re willing to put into this because of their respect for the business, their respect for the WWE superstars, their respect for what we do, and the people who came before them.”
Logan Paul was also in action at last night’s WrestleMania show, losing to Seth Rollins in their grudge match.
