Triple H, Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett have reacted to Jey Uso winning the Intercontinental Championship on WWE Raw.
The September 23 episode of WWE Raw saw Uso beat Bron Breakker for his first singles championship in the company.
The full match can be seen below this news story, along with what was said by Triple H, Rhodes and Barrett.
Sharing a customary finger point photo with the new champion, WWE’s Chief Content Officer tweeted:
“The embodiment of hard work paying off is “Main Event” Jey @WWEUsos.
“An all-time great in the tag team division, and now has won one of the most historic championships in our business.
“Congratulations, Jey…YEET!”
Jey Uso has held the WWE Tag Team Championships and WWE World Tag Team Championships on multiple occasions with Jimmy Uso and Cody Rhodes.
Rhodes would share his own thoughts on Uso becoming WWE Intercontinental Champion with a “Yeet” clip from the pair’s famous Fastlane 2023 post-show press conference.
WWE Raw commentator Wade Barrett would then give some rare praise to Uso, reflecting on the fan reaction inside the Toyota Center in Ontario, California, tweeting:
“I’ve been in a lot of arenas, but I’ve genuinely never seen one so COMPLETELY unified with happiness and elation like when Jey @WWEUsos got the dub tonight.
“Even the cold-blooded haters like me enjoyed it. A spine-tingling moment. Congrats Uce! “
The celebrations didn’t stop with these three either, with both Rhea Ripley and Rikishi reacting with the suggestion of a trip to Waffle House also being made.
Jey Uso has also shared his thoughts in post-match comments while surrounded by the fans at last night’s WWE Raw.
