Triple H has commented after the final WWE SmackDown on FOX before the show’s move to the USA Network.
After five years on the network, SmackDown’s era on FOX has now come to an end following last night’s September 6 episode from Edmonton, Alberta.
Following the end of the WWE and FOX partnership, the company’s Chief Content Officer Triple H would take to Twitter to send a message of thanks to the network for the last five years.
Triple H wrote:
Thank you to FOX for an unforgettable five years of broadcast television, pushing @WWE further into the mainstream.

As well as Triple H, SmackDown’s broadcast team of Michael Cole and Corey Graves would also take time during last night’s show to thank FOX, with the company also airing a video package of some of the show’s highlights across the last five years.
While the FOX era is over, SmackDown’s start on the USA Network is kicking off in a big way as the company have stacked the show with a major main event.
As announced during the opening segment of SmackDown, Cody Rhodes will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa inside a Steel Cage in next week’s main event, confirming reports that circulated prior to the show’s airing.
