During last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw, it was revealed in a backstage segment with Adam Pearce that NXT star Mansoor had signed a Raw contract and would be moving up to the main roster.
Mansoor’s debut didn’t exactly go to the plan, as the Saudi Arabian had his 49-match undefeated streak ended after Humberto Carrillo attacked Sheamus during his match with the Irishman to cause the DQ.
Following his debut last night, WWE COO Triple H took to social media to praise Mansoor, with “The Game” noting that he is excited to see what the former NXT star can do on WWE’s flagship show:
I’ve watched @KSAManny grow in and out of the ring since he first came to the @WWEPC. With stellar performances on #WWENXT and #WWE205Live, can’t wait to watch him on Monday Night #WWERaw!
This comes after it was recently reported that WWE had given Mansoor such an impressive undefeated streak to appease the Saudi Arabian government, which you can read more about by clicking here.
At this time, it’s unclear whether or not WWE made the decision to call Mansoor up to Monday Night Raw to also appease the Saudi Arabian government. Stay tuned to WrestleTalk.com for any potential updates on the matter.
