Yesterday WWE confirmed that The Rock’s daughter Simone Johnson had been signed to the Performance Center to begin her wrestling training.
This is obviously a big deal. The Rock is not only one of the most iconic wrestlers of all time but is also a world-famous movie star. All eyes are set to be on Simone as she tries to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a professional wrestler.

If Simone does have a match for the WWE, she will become the company’s first-ever fourth-generation superstar. Her grandfather and great grandfather also worked for Vince McMahon during their careers.
Simone commented on the news, saying that she has been determined to make her dream a reality since she was a “little girl”. She went on to add how she was “beyond thankful” for the opportunity.
For the little girl who fell in love with wrestling & was determined to make this dream a reality – this is for you. I’m beyond thankful for this opportunity & ready to get after it.

One of Simone’s father’s greatest rivals is current WWE COO Triple H. Taking to Twitter, “The Game” also commented on the new signing.

Speaking of Triple H, he and Stephanie McMahon revealed last year that their eldest daughter is also training to become a wrestler.
Perhaps we will see Triple H’s daughter and The Rock’s daughter go one-on-one at some stage, both being managed by their fathers.
