Triple H Makes Big Decision On Future Of Two Championships WWE

Find out what Triple H has decided regarding the future of two championships in WWE as the WrestleMania season is nearly here!

According to today’s (January 16) Observer Daily Update, penned by Dave Meltzer, a decision for the time being on the future of the WWE Tag Team Championships.

While many months of the reign have been ‘Undisputed’ in which the Usos defend both the WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships as an unified title is set to change.

The titles will be defended separately and on each brand moving forward according to the report.

According to the report, the shift was referred to as “a Paul Levesque decision this week”.

Defending two sets of Championships across both brands could complicate the dominance of the Bloodline across both WWE Raw and SmackDown as the WrestleMania season kicks off.

Perhaps Bloodline title defenses on both nights of WrestleMania 39 could happen even if the Usos drop one or both sets of tag titles before April given the rumored potential plans for Roman Reigns at the big event.

The Usos are set for upcoming defenses of the tag titles separately, with one feud already determined.

For the WWE Raw Tag Team titles, Judgment Day emerged victorious from a Tag Team Turmoil main event which saw then gain the title shot against the Usos at the upcoming Raw 30 on January 23.

For the WWE SmackDown tag team titles, Friday night’s show had a big announcement about their future including an upcoming tournament. You can read all about that by clicking here.
