Triple H has announced that a major new signing to WWE will kick off the next phase of their career in NXT.
After word broke earlier this evening (December 28) from the AAA Noche de Campeones event that Dragon Lee had made a big announcement.
Telling the crowd that he had signed with WWE, now Triple H has reacted by touting the top prospect and giving some more details about their future.
Triple H wrote on Twitter:
“An unbelievable athlete who has collected accolades and held championships across the globe… and he’s just getting started.
“The next chapter of @dragonlee95 ’s career begins with @WWENXT!”
Dragon Lee made his debut for All Elite Wrestling back in August when he participated in the first round of the AEW World Trios Championship tournament.
Dragon Lee of course has an expansive career in professional wrestling prior to the appearance for AEW.
With over a decade of experience, Dragon Lee formerly wrestled for such promotions as Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre, Ring of Honor and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide.
The former former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion has also worked for NJPW under the ring name, Ryu Lee.
