WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque tested positive for Covid-19 over the weekend and was absent from his backstage role at WWE Raw.
Fightful Select (subscription required) has provided an update on both Triple H’s condition and the episode of WWE Raw itself, confirming that:
“Although Triple H was sidelined with COVID, we’ve heard he’s doing fine. Road Dogg helped run the show, and it was mainly written by Sunday evening.”
The October 17 episode of Raw, the first without Triple H present since taking over WWE creative, saw a 1% drop in total viewership, though a 10% drop in the 18-49 demographic.
Trips had previously undergone surgery for a “genetic heart condition” which had seen him step away from his corporate duties at WWE.
Triple H returned to WWE and has been running WWE creative since late July, following Vince McMahon’s retirement announcement.
WrestleTalk wishes him a full recovery.
