A common criticism of many wrestling companies is their abundance of championships. A number of companies have a large number of titles leading to many of them being put on the back burner. Now, Triple H has said he is not a fan of this approach.
During the NXT TakeOver Vengeance Day media call, Triple H said he is also not a fan of having people just move from one title to the next. Sean Ross Sapp reported the following on Twitter:
“Triple H says he’s not a fan of having 38 different titles in a company and people just moving from one title to another.”
He did not direct this criticism towards any one company in particular. Currently, the main NXT brand has five championships. If you add in NXT UK, you get another three titles.
